Stauffer’s® is a wholly owned subsidiary of Meiji America Inc., which was founded in 2011 as the American division of Meiji Group, a manufacturer of snacks and food products that support healthy and fulfilling lives. Stauffer’s is best known for its Original Animal Crackers and manufactures an entire line of baked snacks. Stauffer’s continues to reside in York, Pennsylvania where it began in 1871, contributing to Central Pennsylvania’s title of Snack Food Capital of the World.


OPPORTUNITY
Stauffer’s had long relied on the Microsoft AX 2012 ERP to manage its operations. However, the system was reaching end-of-life as the business landscape evolved and technological advancements became available, and this was creating limitations for Stauffer’s in leveraging its ERP to its full capacity. In order to harness advanced functionalities crucial for sustaining and fostering future business growth, company leadership identified an urgent need to upgrade its ERP to a more sophisticated solution. Complicating matters, this upgrade had to be completed before the onset of the busy season, underscoring the urgency of the situation.


SOLUTION
Recognizing the pressing nature of Stauffer’s’ requirements, enVista swiftly assessed the situation. After thorough analysis, enVista determined that upgrading to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 F&O) would be the optimal solution to meet Stauffer’s’ evolving business needs.
