      Hi,

We would like to implement workflows for vendor creation, updates and deletes.  With that said, we only want to implement workflows for certain vendor classes or differ the workflow depending on the type of vendor class id.  Is it possible to create a workflow that is dependent on the vendor class?

      Thanks,

      -Scott

Absolutely!  And it’s great!  For Vendors in place prior to implementing workflow, automatic triggers won’t occur, but if they are approved through GP workflow, and changes are made, users can’t save the changes without sending through approval (which puts the vendor on hold:

The workflow available was released with GP2015 (I believe the RTM).

As part of the ‘step’ in the workflow you can use Vendor Class ID to specify that an action is required.
