      Hello Everyone,

I am getting the following error when attempting to assign an account to a dimension.

“The account is linked to an account class  whose analysis type is set to Not Allowed for the selected transaction dimension. It cannot be selected.”

What does this mean and how can I fix this?

      I solved my own problem.

      1) Ensure the Account String is setup and linked to the class.

      2) Assign accounts by segment instead of individual account. It saves much sanity.

This was all sparked from building enhancements to a smart connect feed, which was giving me a confusing error message.

The error message said the item already existed. In reality, the analytical accounts was not setup.
