When I am trying to run a sales posting journal report called Receivables Voided/Waived/NSF I get the error message above. Can anyone tell me what it means?
Thanks

Hi, This looks like a c-tree error. There’s a file named CTERROR.PDF in the Manuals folder of the Dex program file. In that document, it’s described as:
File number is already in use. If possible, increase the FILES setting in the server (or the fils parameter of INITISAM() for standalone). In releases after V10.3, the default for MAX_FILES_PER_USER has been increased from 2048 to 32767 to avoid file opens failing due to the lower limit.
Try deleting all of the files in your temp folder. Kind regards, Leslie

We sometimes get temp error messages when Great Plains runs long reports, like the HATB reports. In a Citrix environment, increasing the memory in the Citrix metaframe servers helps with this problem.

If this is a ctree error you might want to clean out your temp files.
