Thought I would ask the community a question before going further. When Encumbrance Management is in use there is an encumbrance management summary window that users can view. However when reviewing the window there is nothing in the Beginning Balance for Actual on the accounts selected. When viewing the Account Summary Inquiry there is an amount in the accounts beginning balance because the Year End Close created the beginning balance BBF transaction. I have tried different test configurations by having a budget ID that spans multiple years, toggled the settings for View by Year and Budget, changed settings for the year view on the budget, adjusted the display options for Net Change and Period Balances and no matter what I try the beginning balance never populates the Actuals for the GL account. If I drill into the Actual from the link on the Encumbrance Summary I do see the BBF transaction also.

I have also run the Year End Encumbrance Transfer routine with no affect on the issue.

My expectation is that the Encumbrance Summary Inquiry would match the Actual column with the Account Summary Inquiry window even if no budget is present.

I appreciate the help if anyone has suggestions or has solved this in the past.

      Thank you

I have attached an example from my test system.
