      We are currently using Liaison to send out our sales acknowledgements and invoices to our customers and our reps. Iis there another way?  Sending through liaison seems very manual intensive.  We would like to be able to send straight from GP without having to “rehandle” the documents.  I previously had used a system called Syteline and we were able to setup, on the customer screen, a default set of email addresses based on the type of transaction.  When we processed orders, or invoices the email would be generated right then.

      Sales Order Processing has this functionality.  It’s a one to one relationship (one email per transaction) but you certainly can add an email address to the customer and email the order, invoice, etc, right from within GP. 

      Depending on your quantity and other needs, this might not be a feasible option but as far as ‘out of the box’, it sure does!

      You can also do this in bulk from the batch.

      I use this function to email all invoices.
      It will work to email orders as well but the issue I found is if you have one email address for orders and another for invoices, you cannot separate them out.

      You should be able to use multiple addresses in Dynamics GP. It is based on a setting or two. Which version of Dynamics GP are you running?

      Hi Lisa,
      It looks like you’re still running Messenger FORM which has an external client piece from which you select and send the documents. Messenger EDD uses your existing GP screens, print functions. You just print to the Liaison printer driver. Tom can give you a call to provide you with upgrade info.
