at year end, I ran a Sales Trial Balance Aging.  It shows 32 pages of unpaid invoices.  Now we are having an audit, and they are asking how many of those invoices have been paid since 12/31/16.  Is there a way to run a new aging showing the payments on there, but not showing any of the 2017 invoices on there?

I do have Smartlist Builder if someone already has something ready.

      Thanks,

You can add the Current Transaction Amount field to the Historical Aged Trial Balance Report.  I would also add a calculated variance  field:  Original Transaction Amount – Current Transaction Amount.  Any positive amount in the calculated variance field would indicate 2017 payments against your year end open invoices.

      Hi,

Initially, I really liked Lou’s solution but then I got to thinking about which table holds the actual current document balance. That table, the RM Open table, isn’t included on that report. In order to add the true current balance to your report, I think you will need to create a new relationship between the RM HATB Document TEMP table and the RM Open Table, The screenshot below shows you what the relationship definition window should look like when you create the new relationship.

      Kind regards,

      Leslie
