We recently ran an on-demand direct deposit and our ACH file did not include the payroll bank debit portion within the file.

Therefore, when we submitted it to the bank, it was rejected because it is an unbalanced file.

We recently had some windows updates applied to our server.

Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot?

ACH files are text files.
If you have the file specs,
and you know what you are doing,
you can fix the file on a one-time basis in Notepad.
