    Marni,

    1) Whether fields are editable is controlled by Business Central. If it is not editable in BC, it is not editable in Excel.

    2) Do not delete lines unless you want them deleted from your database, use filtering in Excel instead.

    3) You might find the linked video put together by my NVS teammate helpful. (180) Business Central Tips: Edit in Excel – YouTube

    4) If data changes, you will be notified. I don’t remember the exact message but you won’t be able to apply your changes.
